Bramley Line Model Railway Exhibition
Saturday, June 19th 2010
St Peter's Church Hall, WISBECH.
The Bramley Line Heritage Railway Trust organised their first ever
Model Railway Exhibition in Wisbehc, Cambridgeshire on Saturday, June
19th 2010.
The show went well, despite some problems in the morning, and we had nearly 200 visitors through the door.
Layouts where included both local model railway clubs, Wisbech MRC and
March & District MRC as well as Market Deeping MRCs Cannons Cross
and a private layout of the Wisbech & Upwell Tramway, which
generated a lot of interest. Unfortuantly, a couple of
layouts were not available.
We also welcomed local photographer, Andrew Ingram who had an excellent
display of photographs of the Wisbech and March area, including an
extensive collection of Wisbech East and Harbour Branches, Emneith,
March and of course the Wisbech & Upwell Tramway.
We were also pleased to welcome the Ipswich and Cambridgeshire branches
of RCTS, who had a good display of books and photos for sale as always.
We had a number of local traders, including Sandra's Cards from March and Layouts 4U and welcomed 12 volts DC to the show.
We hope those who visited enjoyed the show. For those who couldn't make it, some photos can be found by clicking here
(when available) on our volunteers blog.
Please look out for more Events coming soon.
